Tennis Court Landscaping

A newly installed tennis court that was cut into a steeply sloping site left a considerable scar on the landscape.  Jo gardens designed and implemented an interesting planting scheme to cover the slopes around the court, with a year-round colourful selection of plants.  A bio-degradeable weed suppressing membrane was fitted to the slope to reduce the need for maintenance of this challenging site.

Drought tolerant plants were selected to cope with the southerly aspect and shallow soil.

One year on, the backdrop to the tennis court is worth taking your eye off the ball!
